Haish.. F.O.C.

Ni nak cerita tentang kejadian kat ERL Cyberjaya Putrajaya semalam masa aku nak balik ke Ampang. Aku tak drive 3 minggu ni sampai ujung minggu depan sebab bagi adik pompuan aku pakai kereta. Dia kat UNISEL. So aku naik bas je.

Kata suruh orang naik bas segala. Tapi prasarana amatlah sedih.

Ni cerita pasal ERL la. Lupa. Pasal Nadi Putra dan PJH nanti aku cerita.

Kisahnya aku sampai Putrajaya Sentral jam 9.20 malam.

Sebab pertama sebab kat Putrajaya Sentral ada bas ekspres untuk ke Kelantan dan Terengganu dan as you all know la kan, orang Kelantan ngan Terengganu beraya haji more than other else.

Boarding train? The most unreliable mode of transportation in the past.. in term of punctuality? No. I give A for the punctuality of this service yesterday! at least from Ipoh to KL. Hehehe.

Firstly, go to ticket counter. Of course la kan. Takkan nak pi ke Info Counter kot. The departure hall of Ipoh Railway Station is handsomely in full operation.

Wah. Macam amik ubat klinik yer. To buy the ticket, one should take a number and be seated waiting for the turn.

Hah! That is Tony Fernandez celup. He will be the KTMB CEO for low cost rail carrier company in future. Wakakaka.

Next thing is, wait for the train by looking northward at the station platform.

And wow! The train arrived 2 minutes earlier!

And when there is Muthusamy snoring out loud like the sound of the locomotive....

...go and find out another place to search for tranquility.

When KLIA Express used as a KLIA Transit...

... let it be as long as you can arrived Putrajaya Sentral accordingly.

Now I save RM8.00 by having the Economy Class 'rusty smell cabin' that cost RM10.00 for Ipoh-KL trip.

Friday, August 7, 2009

On my previous post, I did mentioned about my northward journey that brought me to a place that I never 'landed' before. Sik, a small town in rural Kedah.

As a stronghold of PAS, an Islamic political entity, I rather opened by the fact that there is a skirt wearing Siamese girls of Siamese community that ran a saloon business. When one of us asked on why don't they run a massage parlour, the answer is very simple yet straightforwarding "Lesen tak boleh dapat bang oi" ("Impossible to obtain a permit for that!").

One of my Management Dept. pilot ('driver' is a sensitive term), asking one of my subordinate (the one that we going to mess his mom's house)about any place for him to do some hair dressing. As it was almost 7.30 pm, the deserted town was only enliven by the weekly night market and the only saloon that operating on this twillight hour is a Siamese girls' saloon.

A gentle service with smiles and good manouvre that I have ( seems that I was amazed with the price charged ), is only for RM5.00 ! "Seumur hidup aku botak, tak pernah ada orang mesin rambut aku lembut macamni " (I never have a gentle barber doing the shaving gently like this since I started to get skinheaded") I told my friends while the girl working on my head.

Oh damn. She was a Siamese.. not a Chinese girl. Of course she knew what I'm saying. (Chinese girl mostly knows basic Malay only). The Siamese girls broke laugh and talking something with her friends in Thai. Damn. I'm blushed.

Later, we have a dinner at my subordinate's house, located in a remote kampong that fall into eerie silence after 9.00 p.m. To be precise, look at the "A" sign at picture below. That was his house. To make it worse, the loo is located outside the house when I had to answer the nature's call around 11.30 pm.

Anyway, I fall asleep later that night with a full stomach after I have the apam balik refilling my stomach. The night is so cold and caused me a little pain in my chest as I wake up few times on the wee hours.

The unique of the people in Sik as well as Baling, Weng, Nami, Kupang and also as far south as Selama (Kedah), they believed that they are of Patani origin. (The place where people of Kelantan came from). And the fact that support this shall be found in their language.

Air ( water ) is pronounced as ai instead of ayaq that popularly used in Kedah. Kelik for balik (return home) and demo for depa ( they ). The intonation is slighly like Siamese people of Kedah origin that can be found in Satun and Danok and the whole of it shows that people of rural Kedah is actually originated from the East Coast.

But centuries of outcast across the mountain range has developed an ethnicity of their own with language spoken among them is hardly to be understood even by person of Kedah origin like me.

The early next misty morning, we departed for Alor Star which is located an hour driving distance away. While we stopped by at a small grocery to buy cigarette, a bunch of Tabika KEMAS kids are running out of their class lining up at the fence in a welcoming gesture, looking at our Nissan Frontier and a Ministry of Health labelled 3 tonnes truck with red crescent logo. But we left them upset when we just waived back and speed away.

Those kids and also their teachers must be thinking that we are going to give a health education or medication what-so-ever seems the nearby school in Sik has been closed due to the H1N1 outbreak. Yes, the desease has lingered even in the rural air.

One of my friend's uncle that living near my friend's house said "every desease that exist here is brought in from the outsiders, we the kampong folk have to work hard in our farms just to ensure that we could afford medication in case of critical condition that need money".

Its an open secret that I'm not possessing any driving liecence and neither drive any car prior to May 2008. But what the most precious experience I have yesterday is, I successfully drove a Nissan Frontier Sports Utility Truck (SUT) all the way from Alor Star to KL.

Yes it is way bigger than my compact car, and makes me a little bit too nervous on the first few minutes of the driving.

But what can be more exciting than driving a machine with the engine capacity as twice as my small car, bigger, longer, higher and steadier (does that ever exist in English vocab? Like I care!).

But the excitement detered by beams of few car on the opposite lane on my left hand side, telling there was a road block somewhere up ahead looking for over-speeding highway users somewhere in Penang.

Yes, 100km ahead, there is a road block and I wasn't caught for any speeding offence. After that, I speed 120 kmh all the way south.

It sounds silly but I must share that driving a four wheel drive truck is something different from steering a car! Climbing up Jelapang hills in a steady 110kmh with the fifth gear is something new for me.

But the best thing for me is, there is no exausted kind of feeling after the 470 km drive in 6 hours. It was my personal record of the longest distance I ever steer. Maybe the accelaration friction does not effect much on the driver or maybe the suspension system is just superb.

A day before that, I was on my task to send some printed materials to Kedah State Health Department in Alor Star. But we decided to overnight at Sik, the hometown of one of my colleague that joining us.

It is bad to have no camera with me to take the photo of kampong dishes like Chicken Mushroom Curry that extra-teresterially delicious! LOL. Like something that is not an earth origin one!

It was a late rambutan seasons over there and ripe rambutans are coloring its tree red and most of the kampong folk are on their disgusting mode facing this fruit that they said, worth 40 cent per kilogram on this kind of time. But hey, in KL it still RM3.50 per kg!!

I have a metre tall gunny sack filled with rambutans for free and spend half an hour stop by at my parent house in Ipoh to disembark this fruit that hazardous for those who are in cough ailment. Among these, I took along langsat, duku air, setar (kundang) and also petai!

One anthropologistic lesson I ever learn in, most people in rural Kedah speaks a language that more similar to Kelantanese rather than the Kedahan! This is something new to me! For example; there is no "ayaq" for "air". They pronounce it as "ai". More to list down in next posting.

Back to the topic, from a silent nervous move on the first 50km to a laughable gossip chat between three of us at the last 50km , Nissan Frontier that I steer is a fast-to-get-hands-on-with kind of vehicle.

I would like to try the 3 tonnes lorry after this. Hehe! For a sake of my driving potfolio. Ya. When sometimes not long ago, people looking down at me in a skeptical way when I honestly tell them that " I'm not a driver with any single experience and for sure without valid driving liecence", why I shouldn't proud with this fast development?

This is my first absence on KL roads on early Saturday... haha... ( Roads katenye... padahal..... dentam dentum....) The reason is.. tomorrow.. there is gonna be a day of my first experience on being a tourist guide...

One of my weed fella, worked as a tourist guide.. on freelance basis.. Haha.. I wonder since when that kind of job is ever available here in M'sia..... But.. this fella offered me a luxorious offer... some three digit earning... for a single day trip... excluding tips that might rewarded by the tourist... ( Tu pun kalau mangkuk tu happy la kan...)

After all.. I have a good idea to bring him to a resort that build in an orang asli theme... everything made by bamboo.. woods... attaps.. and Lata Kinjang too... I knew my Gopenghagen quite well.... ( Padahal.. orang Tambun.. berlagak tetap ..)

This kind of business is actually part of my brainchild idea... I mean.. regarding the orang asli homestay.. but seems like one Chinese lady has been the first with the capability to materialized it... But I still eyeing one in Jalong.. Sg. Siput.

Meanwhile.. there must be a reason why I dont go for the dentam dentum tonight... a valid reason ... haha... Let it remain something in my mind.. ( Baik takyah cakap kan? )

It goes like.. when you being at a place with the right condition to get sweating by moving your body in artistic way... people just look upon you like... " He is a clubbing bitch "... now that is quite gross but it really is.. So I think that my absence... could lessen the bitch factor.. LOL..

Ya lor.. I can oso sleep maa all the way to Gopeng... but I dont want la... people are using my service to have me wide awake... speak something that they wish to hear.. kann?

Anyway... on the other issue... I applaud the step made by the MoE on the English thingy... I've been writing to newspaper opinions column since 2002.. opposing the not-so-brilliant policy of PPSMI....

For me... let the subject taught in the kid's mothertongue.. BUT.. the English lesson should be given more hours per week.... AND... the Science and Math could be tought in English paralell with the ongoing sylabus..

BUT I'm not an Education Minister... I'm just an assistant of a part time tourist guide.. tomorrow.. till then.. good night.

Gua Tempurung..Gua Tempurung.. Gua Tempurung.. Gua Tempura.. Gua Tempura.. Udang Tempura... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ~

What a hectic weekend I'd went through. Driving north to Ipoh, stay for less than 12 hours before shooting down to KL, just to have all my stuff packed and leave that 'mansion' that I've occupied for almost two and a half year.

Turmoil is depressing me further down with too much expenses to handle and too little to come into my personal treasury.

I took 2 days leave instead of strict regulation on absence due to the H1N1. I cant deal anymore with the time I had and the insufficient fund to settle out things.

I decide to move nearby to Taman Kosas on temporary basis. I'm eyeing for double storey terrace house for the next tenancy somewhere in Equine Park. Much nearer to Putrajaya and fuel cost shall halven the current expenses.

Imagine, renting a RM1000 per month double storey terrace house as a first tenant barely after it fit for occupation, spacious and not even a penny that we feel it really money-wasting even sometimes in rolling eyes, we realize that we had paid for the rent more than RM24,000 all this while.

Suddenly, a person that being accepted to occupied one of the room like 6 month ago, had made a deal with the houselord that the April 2009 rent will be paid on May without no one ever realize the fraudulent negotiation.

Few days before the May rental due date, he pack his stuff and sneak off the house and leaving the whole else in a total limbo. As the person that subjected on the tenancy agreement, and with the whole else that having no money, I absorb the cost on myself. Now that was the costliest monthly payment I ever paid. RM1250!

To add up the mess, the owner had issue out vacant-the-premise notice and today, is the final day we are here in this house. Hell I will never rent a house with a legal documents to sign on anymore!

I bear all this deadly cost and the result is I get my broadband disconnected by the provider, phone being barred, incomplete road tax renewal process, a month car installment unpaid and problematic OT claim. What else to come?

Well, this is written even before I was born to this world. Everything will going to be fine. I act cool because I will never let spontaneous human combustion killing me. If anyone ever encounter my flammable image, I suggest you a CO2 type of extinguisher.

Tapi remeh laa. Dua resepi ni paling best bagi aku.

Sebenarnya aku nak perkenalkan pajeri nenas ikan masin tu kat Arni ngan Juanez. Ye lah.. masakan 1600km dari situ. Kelakar bila tengok Arni dengan Juanez perit tekak sebab kerisik. Tapi Kuzuto mengesahkan kesedapannya sebab dia tukang rasa import dari semenanjung.

Jadi mehlah aku syerkan cara-cara menyediakan pajeri nenas untuk korang try buat satu. Bahan-bahannya ialah :

1 biji nenas
2 peket kecik rempah kari daging
2 peket kecik kerisik
1 peket kecik bunga lawang
4 sudu gula (kalau nenas tawar, ikut la berapa sudu ko suka)
¼ sudu garam
1 genggam udang kering

Cara Memasak :

Terima kasih Air Asia.

The night before I went to Penang, I went to Rum Jungle Ipoh, clubbing with my friends which we've never been clubbing together for almost 3 years.

The uncrowded night is something way to relaxing with spacious floor for everyone to dance to the housemusic.

These are my friends that treating themselves with 2 bottle of Chivas Regal and I just sip a coke as I have to drive North on the next morning. Do you buy me? Haha!

Like elder brother like the younger. Which is my younger brother? Haha. Too bad for a divorcee like him, indulged in clubbing atmosphere in his late 20s, almost a decade after he derogatorily smack me with his words when I was all out with my clubbing and drinking habits.

Anyway, I had a nice time being with them and enthusiasticly considering the next gathering session.

I successfully scaled the NSE of E2 (the southbound) with my WRG5061’s odometer in September, and beong a frequent user of Ipoh – KL fragment. Last Sunday i.e. the 30th November turned to be the northbound task for me. Unfortunately, to get to Kota Sarang Semut, a town 16km south of Alor Star, I had to get off the highway with short of 59km to complete the whole NSE scaling experience.

With this journey, I have successfully driven on 93.18% of the NSE with a total length of 820km of the whole 880km within 3 month! While most of my journey within the period doesn’t counts, the record that I’ve made shown that on Sept 1, 2008, my odometer cumulated a total of more than 16,000km and today the figure is totaling some 24,000 km. 8,000km for three month with an average of 88.18km per day. With the fuel consumption designed at 18km/litre, the car has consumed 444 litres of petrol in 90 days.

Anyway, there is nothing important about it. Haha!~
